Description
Neem trees are attractive broad-leaved tall evergreens trees with the small bright green leaves. It grows up to 100 feet tall. It blossoms in spring with the small white flowers. It has a straight trunk. Its bark is hard rough and scaly, fissured even in small trees. Neem Tree is found throughout the India and can be easily grown in the dry, stony, shallow and clayey soils. It needs very little water and plenty of sunlight to grow. It releases oxygen in large quantities due to their bigger foliage.
Nearly all parts of a Neem Tree are useful starting right from its leaves to its branches. The oil extracted from its seeds is used in medicines, pest controls, cosmetics etc. Its leaves are used in the treatment of chickenpox, toothache, diabetes and even control the blood sugar level in the body. Its bark contains tannins which are used in tanning and dyeing.
